You can say that this blog was dead for a period of more than 1 month, before I decided to revive it again. It seems like my motivation to post had weakened(thanks to some other games which distracted me from mapling), but now I have decided to come back and post again. In theme with my previous post, I will be talking about OPQ.
I had been pqing for 7 levels before i decided to train at the dead mine instead. I did that because the experience given was just too little. (I had received an ‘exp-cut’ because I did a full pq before.) Over these 7 levels, I have met many new people(good or bad; cute or ugly) and here is a list of things I(and probably many maplers) hate…
- A leader who always misses- I usually gives the leader a couple of chances as I know how difficult it is to be a successful pq leader and how frustrating it is if the members ‘mass-quit’ . However, this does not mean that I will hang around with a ‘confirm miss’ leader all day, waiting for him to successfully go into pq. (That is TOO time consuming!) A piece of advice to all potential leaders: If you don’t think you have the skill to be a leader, DON’T BE ONE!
- ’sure in’ members- How many times have you seen this? In channel 1, there’s this high-leveled pro saying ‘I WAN RUSH/BLEACH*/FULL PQ MUST SURE IN@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@) This is even more common in ludibrum pq. This is a message for everyone who commonly says that: I don’t agree with saying ’sure in’, for every leader is human and they all make mistakes(especially when trying to enter pq!) Further more, entering pq is not as easy as you think! And if you are so demanding and think that getting into pq is a piece of cake (we can infer that from what you have said) why not create your own party? Anyway, I have tested and found out that even though you say sure in, there are still a lot of chances of ending up with a leader who cannot enter the pq. Also, many leaders now prefer NOT TO add those who say ’sure in’.
- Irresponsible leaders- There is now a function which allows the leader to appoint a new leader with a click of a button. This function has often been abused, especially when the leader is in ‘dire straits’ :He keeps missing, people mass quit the party and in order to get himself out of the mess, he transfers the leadership to the highest leveled player. This is very irresponsible.
* The name of this kind of pq varies from server to server. It is called super-rush pq in Aquila; I’m using the bootes name as I am in bootes.
Phew! You have come to the end of this wordy entry. Thanks for reading! =)
